The 2026 JoySports Invitational Tournament will take place on Saturday, 29 August 2026, at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon, with registration now open for companies across the country.
Organisers say this year’s competition, building on the success of the 2025 edition, will again combine corporate sport, networking and friendly rivalry, bringing together businesses from a wide range of sectors for a full day focused on fitness, teamwork and camaraderie.

Early start and full day of events
Activities on the day will begin with an aerobics session at 06:00 GMT, giving participants a chance to warm up before competition starts and helping to build team spirit among the organisations taking part.
Over the course of the tournament, companies will contest a series of sporting events designed to encourage collaboration, endurance and a sense of corporate pride. The schedule brings back several fan favourites that have helped the JoySports Invitational Tournament become a fixture on Ghana’s corporate calendar.
Among the headline attractions is the CEO’s Penalty Shootout, which returns after generating strong interest in the 2025 edition. Last year’s contest was won by Denis Adutwum, CEO of The Luckiest Lottery, whose victory ensured the event became one of the day’s most talked-about highlights.
Jama Contest to provide colour
Another popular element returning in 2026 is the Jama Contest, where companies compete through choreographed chants, songs and coordinated displays of support on the sidelines.
Corporate teams will be judged on creativity, energy and togetherness, with the most entertaining and spirited group receiving special recognition. Organisers expect the contest to add significant colour and atmosphere around the main sporting programme.

Speaking ahead of the event, David Max-Fugar, General Manager of Sales and Customer Service at The Multimedia Group, pledged that this year’s tournament would build on previous editions.
