Jordi Osei-Tutu returns to Bundesliga side VfL Bochum on a permanent deal

English-born of Ghanaian descent, Jordi Osei-Tutu has joined Bundesliga side, VfL Bochum on a permanent deal.

Bochum signed the promising full from Premier League side, Arsenal.

The 23-year-old right-back, who spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Bochum, has signed a contract with the club until 2025.

“We know Jordi Osei-Tutu very well, the memories of his skills and strengths are still very present in everyone’s mind,” said Sebastian Schindzielorz, Bochum’s managing director for sport.

“Speed, dynamism, and technique are what set him apart. We continued to watch him after his season at VfL and followed his development. Jordi has matured further, his potential is still enormous. We are optimistic that he will make the leap to the Bundesliga,” he added.

The 23-year-old defender was on loan at Rotherham United since January last season, where he scored in the EFL Trophy Final victory against Sutton United.
