Jordan Ayew has been named Man of the match following his brilliant display for Leicester City in their victory over Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
The Ghanaian international scored and provided an assist as the Premier League side recorded a 4-0 thumping at the King Power Stadium.
Ayew garnered 61% of the fan vote beating competition from Stephen Mavidi and Wilfred Ndidi.
The summer signing opened his Foxes account in the 38 minutes when he cut onto his right foot and bent a beautiful strike into the top corner before Mavidi doubled their lead from the spot after the break.
Ayew, after his superb opener, turned provider in the 70th minute linking up well with Ndidi, who slipped his marker before converting to make it 3-0 and put the game beyond the visitors.
There was still time for a fourth with Winks setting himself before smashing into the bottom corner from 20 yards out.
The draw for the third round will take place on Wednesday evening following Nottingham Forest’s home tie against Newcastle United at The City Ground.
