Jordan Ayew is currently undergoing a medical at Leicester City after the foxes agreed a fee with Crystal Palace to sign the Ghanaian international earlier in the day.
The 32 year old striker joins Leicester in the ongoing transfer window in a deal worth an initial £5million plus £3m in add-on.
He will become the newly-promoted club’s seventh signing of the summer.
Confirmation is understood to be imminent as Leicester look to register Ayew in time to make his debut at Fulham on Saturday.
The versatile Black Stars forward is set to link up with compatriot Abdul Fatawu Issahaku at the King Power Stadium.
