Jordan Ayew to captain Ghana in friendly against Nigeria

Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew will captain Ghana in the international friendly against Nigeria on Friday. The former Olympique Marseille and Swansea City attacker who made his debut in September 2010 will be making his 101 appearance at Grande de Stade Marrakech against the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finalists. He will play in a 4-3-3 formation as deployed by head coach Otto Addo.

Switzerland based goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi will start in-between the sticks with Alidu Seidu, Patrick Kpozo, Jerome Opoku and Edmund Addo forming the backline.

In midfield are Baba Iddrisu, Abdul Samed Salis and Forson Amankwaa whiles Antoine Semenyo, Ernest Nuamah and Jordan play in the front three.

The friendly international is set for 16:00Hrs Kick Off on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Grande de Stade Marrakech in Morocco.
