Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew’s impressive strike secured a 1-1 draw against Everton in the English Premier League’s Round 25 on Monday night.
The Ghanaian international played a crucial role for Crystal Palace, starting in the challenging match at Goodison Park.
The turning point came in the 66th minute when Ayew, receiving a precise pass from Jean-Philippe Mateta, unleashed a thunderous strike that found the back of Everton’s net, to break the deadlock.
However, the lead was short-lived as Everton, showing resilience, managed to level the playing field with a goal from Amadou Onana, resulting in a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
Despite missing out on a victory, the draw proved vital for Crystal Palace, keeping them clear of the relegation zone in the English Premier League standings.
