Spokesperson for the Ayew Family, Solar Ayew is calling on technical handlers of Black Stars to name Jordan Ayew as the next captain.
Jordan has been part of the senior national team since 2010 and participated at tournaments including five Africa Cup of Nations and two World Cups.
“The next in line for Black Stars captain should have been Jordan Ayew but the way we Ghanaians do our things that’s why Jordan is not the captain of the stars,” Solar told Ezra FM.
“Jordan has done a lot for Ghana so he deserves the role.”
Ayew has played 89 games for Ghana and has scored 19 goals.
