Leicester City forward Jordan Ayew says there’s a positive atmosphere at the club following the appointment of new head coach Martí Cifuentes.
The Ghana striker scored the winner in a 1-0 pre-season victory over Hungarian side Zalaegerszeg and spoke glowingly about the early impression made by the Spanish coach.
“We all have a good feeling about him,” Ayew told the club’s website. “It’s early days, but so far everything is going to plan. We’re working hard to build chemistry and be ready for the new season.”
Cifuentes replaces Ruud van Nistelrooy on a three-year deal. The Foxes’ next pre-season test is against FC Karpaty Lviv on Friday, July 25.
