Jordan Ayew excited after contract extension with Crystal Palace

Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew expressed his enthusiasm after extending his contract with the English Premier League side, Crystal Palace.

The 32-year-old player committed to staying with the club until 2025, as announced by the Eagles in a statement on their website on Wednesday.

In response to the news, the Black Stars player conveyed his happiness, saying, “I’m thrilled to have extended my stay with this special club once again. This is my home, and I take immense pride in wearing our shirt.” Jordan shared his sentiments on social media.

Jordan has had a remarkable start to the 2023/24 season, with recent achievements including an impressive half-volley goal against Tottenham Hotspur.

He has also been instrumental in setting up crucial goals in matches against Sheffield United, Brentford, and Plymouth. His outstanding performance earned him his side’s Player of the Month award for August.

Since joining from Swansea City on loan in August 2018, Jordan has been a consistent presence in Palace’s lineup, participating in 186 matches across all competitions and featuring in all 41 of Palace’s games last season.
