Jordan Ayew’s wonderful goal has been nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Month award for February.

His stunning goal was scored during Palace’s 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park, marking a memorable moment on the same night Oliver Glasner took over as Crystal Palace’s new manager.

Ayew’s goal came as a result of a well-placed pass from French forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, leading to an unstoppable shot that found the back of the net on the right side of the post.

This remarkable goal was Ayew’s first since returning from representing the Black Stars at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

Following his goal against Everton, Ayew went on to make a significant impact in Palace’s 3-1 victory over Burnley, where he not only scored another goal but also provided an assist.

It’s worth noting that Ayew is one of two Crystal Palace players nominated for the Goal of the Month award, with Jefferson Lerma earning a spot on the list for his impressive strike against Chelsea.

Additionally, Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo has been nominated for his winning goal against Wolves.

As Crystal Palace prepares to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, Ayew will be looking to continue his impressive form and potentially add another memorable goal to his collection.
