Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has confirmed the team’s readiness ahead of their upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad.
The four-time African champions will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium in a Matchday Five fixture of the qualifying campaign on Friday.
The Black Stars will be looking to redeem their image after failing to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the first time in 20 years.
“My teammates and I can assure you that we are ready for the battle,” Jordan said.
“We will give our all, I know the first task is on Friday and we will make sure that we get the three points.
“We know that we are in a difficult situation but we will turn it around and when I see you guys standing here, I know that it is going to be a positive result on Friday.”
The Black Stars currently share the top spot in Group I with Comoros, with both teams having nine points from four matches.
