ack Stars forwards Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku found the net as Leicester City secured a convincing 3-1 home victory against Ipswich Town in the English Championship.
The Foxes delivered a strong performance at the King Power Stadium to claim all three points in the week 21 fixture.
Issahaku completed the full 90 minutes, while Black Stars captain Ayew was withdrawn after 79 minutes, having already made his mark on the game.
Leicester opened the scoring early through Jamaican forward Bobby Reid in the eighth minute, setting the tone for the contest.
Issahaku then extended the advantage before halftime, capping an impressive first-half display by the hosts.
Seven minutes into the second half, Ayew added Leicester’s third with a well-taken finish, effectively sealing the outcome.
Ipswich pulled one back in the 71st minute through Jens-Lys Cajuste, but the goal proved little more than a consolation as the visitors struggled to regain control.
Jordan now has four goals and one assist in 19 Championship appearances this season, while Issahaku has been involved in nine goals, scoring three and setting up six others.
