Jonathan Clauss looks back on his Alsatian roots

Published: 3 years ago
La Liga

As part of the thirteenth day of Ligue 1, Olympique de Marseille, defeated four times in the last five matches in all competitions, will try to raise their heads against Strasbourg, sixteenth in the French championship. Present at the press conference, Jonathan Clauss, trained at Racing, also returned to his Alsatian roots.

“Coming back to Strasbourg is always something. I still have this pride but it has been a little dissipated for three years. There is no spirit of revenge. Strasbourg made the choices they made. It’s heartbreaking to come back home, it’s always a pleasure and a source of pride. I share it with my family and my friends, it is necessarily touching”assured Clauss.
