The Black Stars are closing in on a full squad in Morocco ahead of Wednesday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic, with FC Basel defender Jonas Adjetey the only player yet to report to camp.
Twenty-three players have already joined Otto Addo’s side in Casablanca, including Mohammed Kudus, Mohammed Salisu, Caleb Yirenkyi, and debutant Kojo Oppong Peprah.
The team is expected to depart for Meknes later today to complete their final training session before the crucial Group I encounter.
Adjetey, who was part of Ghana’s last qualifier, is expected to arrive on Tuesday to complete the roster.
His arrival will bring the squad to its full complement of 24 players.
Ghana currently lead Group I with 19 points and need just four more to confirm their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match against the Central African Republic will take place at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes on Wednesday, October 8, at 16:00 GMT.
