John Paintsil, former Ghanaian international, is sharing insights from his CAF License A coaching course experience taking place at Prampram.

Together with 20 other coaches, Paintsil and his mates are poised to reshape the coaching landscape.

“During the B, the B taught me a lot of things, how [a] coach needs to assemble himself, how [a] coach needs to position himself and all,” Paintsil told 3Sports.

He emphasized that being a former top player isn’t everything. “It’s not about you being an ex player, but I believe that each and everyone here, whether you played to the highest level or not, I think we are starting from the scratch, we are all learning.”

Paintsil praised his fellow coaches, saying “I can tell you all the 20 coaches here are capable of handling all the top teams and the national teams in the near future.

” The course has humbled him, and he’s eager to apply his newfound knowledge.

With his coaching journey just beginning, Paintsil’s enthusiasm is palpable.
