Jerry Afriyie got his first start for RAAL La Louviere in a Belgium league match against KV Mechelen, but his team lost 3-2.
Afriyie, an 18-year-old forward on loan from Al Qadsiah, played the entire match.
Despite taking a 2-1 lead, La Louviere conceded twice in injury time, losing the game.
Afriyie is set to join Ghana’s national team for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
