Jeremie Frimpong was supposed to play in the starting XI for Bayer Leverkusen’s friendly match against FC Copenhagen on 15th January. However, Nadiem Amiri had to fill in for him on the right side on short notice.
Jeremie Frimpong has made 15 appearances, scored five goals, and assisted two for Bayer Leverkusen in the Germany Bundesliga this season. He joined the Bundesliga club on 27th January 2021 from Celtic on a four-year deal.
Frimpong 22, was part of the Netherlands team that was knocked out by Argentina in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
