Jeremie Frimpong reacts after scoring twice in Leverkusen’s win against Schalke 04

Defender Jeremie Frimpong is elate to score a brace for Bayer Leverkusen in their 4-0 win over big Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Frimpong put up an impressive display to help his side seal all three point at home.

“Big result and performance for us. So happy to add two more goals in the bag!” he posted on his twitter page after the game.

The home side scored in the 38th minute via Moussa Diaby and in the 41st minute Diaby assisted Jeremie Frimpong.

The visitors started the second half with two changes to try and get something from the game.

Defender Jeremie Frimpong extended the host lead to 3-0 in the 52nd minute. Paulinho made it 4-0 in the 90th minute.

Frimpong played full throttle in the encounter while winger Callum Hudson-Odoi who is on loan from Chelsea was substituted in the 88th minute.

The former Celtic defender has played nine games in the Bundesliga and scored four goals.
