Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp made an impact with an assist during Crystal Palace’s 4-2 defeat to Manchester City in the English Premier League.
Coming off the bench in the 64th minute to replace Eberechi Eze, Schlupp delivered a commendable performance, earning a 6.9 rating from Flashscore.
His efforts, however, could not help Crystal Palace secure a victory.
Jean Philippe Mateta gave the hosts an early lead just 3 minutes into the game.
Kevin De Bruyne levelled the scores ten minutes later before second half goals from Rico Lewis and Erling Haaland put the visitors ahead.
De Bruyne scored again in the 70th minute, solidifying City’s lead. Edouard’s late goal from Schlupp’s pass in the 86th minute narrowed the gap but wasn’t enough to pick up a point at the very least.
Schlupp has scored once and provided two assists in 23 appearances. His compatriot Jordan Ayew also featured in the game, playing for 74 minutes.
