Ghanaian defender Jamal Amofa has completed a move to Dutch side SC Cambuur, signing a two-year contract.
The 26-year-old returns to familiar territory after a brief spell in Bulgaria with top-flight club Botev Plovdiv.
Born in the Netherlands, Amofa is a graduate of Heerenveen’s famed youth academy and previously featured for clubs like ADO Den Haag.
His switch marks Cambuur’s intent to strengthen their backline ahead of the new season.
The versatile centre-back is known for his strong aerial presence and positional awareness.
Amofa also remains eligible to represent Ghana at international level, despite his Dutch roots.
Cambuur will be hoping his experience across leagues adds stability to their defensive unit.
