Former Football Administrator and Kumasi Mayor Kojo Bonsu has advised Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew to retire from team to save him from the fleet of attacks following his penalty miss at the World Cup.

According to Kojo Bonsu, Dede has served the country well and it’s proper to give him a better send off.

Andre Ayew was part of the Black Stars team that got eliminated from the ongoing 2022 World Cup after 2-0 defeat to Uruguay.

“Dede Ayew has really done well for the country looking at his achievements for the country since he joined the National Team.” Kojo told Akoma FM.

“But honestly, he is weak [not in the best shape] now so the country should give him a good testimonial or farewell game to retire him and avoid accusing him for the penalty miss. Should we continue with this attack, it will affect the next generation.”

Ayew has been a full international for Ghana since 2008 and has earned over 110 caps.
