It feels great to sign contract extension with Elfsborg – Michael Baidoo

Ghana midfielder Michael Baidoo has expressed great feeling about signing a new contract with Elfsborg.

Baidoo said this after the Swedish top-flight football club announced that he has extended his time at the club through to the 2027 season.

“It’s a very good feeling! I’ve been here for two years now, and it feels great to sign an extension,” says Michael.

The 24-year-old has been a standout performer for the Yellow and Blacks since his arrival in January 2022 from Norwegian outfit Sandnes Ulf.

With two explosive seasons under his belt, Baidoo has solidified his position as a key player for Elfsborg.

During his time at the club, Baidoo has showcased his versatility and prowess on the field, amassing an impressive record of 14 goals and 9 assists in 54 competitive matches.

In the just concluded Swedish league season, Michael Baidoo has featured in 28 games, scored 5 goals and provided 6 assists.

With this contract extension, Elfsborg secures the services of a talented midfielder who has undoubtedly become a linchpin in their squad, further bolstering their aspirations for success in the seasons to come.
