It feels great – Antoine Semenyo after scoring in Bristol City’s 1-1 draw with Coventry City

Ghana striker, Antoine Semenyo says he feels excited after scoring in the 2023 calendar year in the Skybet Championship.

The 21-year-old was in the scoresheet as Bristol City drew 1-1 with Coventry City in the last round of games.

Semenyo scored in the 28th minute to get Bristol level after conceding a Jake Bidwell goal in the 12th minute.

The equalizer against Coventry is Semenyo’s fourth goal in the Championship this season.

“It definitely feels good obviously I haven’t been in the team for the last few games came in the last two…and am happy to contribute,” he said in a chat with Bristol City media.

The forward lasted the entire duration of the contest.

Semenyo was included in Ghana’s 2022 FIFA World Cup squad in a campaign that had the Black Stars compete in Group H.

He is the subject of major interest from English Premier League sides AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace according to British portal TeamTalk.
