Issahaku Yakubu Joins Al-Ahli Tripoli, Pays Tribute to Ghana’s Heritage

Ghanaian defender Issahaku Yakubu has officially joined Libyan giants Al-Ahli Tripoli SC from National Bank of Egypt SC.

The 31-year-old left-back has sealed a permanent transfer worth $600,000, with his unveiling photo showcasing his admiration for the iconic old-school transport of Ghana’s Northern Region.

Yakubu, known as “Leftey,” has added valuable experience and attacking quality to Al-Ahli Tripoli’s squad.

He has previously played for clubs like Lierse S.K. and GS Ergotelis, and has been impressive with National Bank, making 143 appearances, scoring three goals, and providing 20 assists.

This move marks a new chapter in Yakubu’s career, and he’s expected to make a significant impact with Al-Ahli Tripoli.
