Inter Allies coach Addo refuses to accept relegation

Inter Allies coach Herbert Addo has refused to give up on the club’s fight against relegation despite being bottom of the table with a game to spare to end the first half of the season.

The Premier League new boys lost 2-0 against local rivals Amidaus Professionals to concede their 11th defeat of the campaign, leaving them languishing at the bottom of the table with a paltry nine points from 14 games.

They find themselves at least eight points from safety but Addo is adamant they can still pull themselves out of trouble.

“There’s no way we’re conceding that [relegation],” he said

“We threw everything at Amidaus on Sunday. Unfortunately we came up against a brick wall and lost in the process.

“The League is far from over. We have many matches to play and so we’re certainly not out at all.”

Allies will next travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama on Sunday December 15.
