The Ghana right-back lasted 68 minutes before he was pulled out of FC Basle’s League game against FC Aura.
Club doctors say he does not need surgery, but the injury is still a major blow to Inkoom, who had gone into the Basle side as a regular straight on the back of his move from Asante Kotoko.
Now he hopes the injury will not affect his first team chances when he is fully recovered.
“It’s a big blow, but everything happens for a reason, so I just hope the recovery process is quick and that I will come back in good shape,” he tells KickOffGhana.com.
