Inkoom who has been back up to John Paintsil at the Black Stars level has been called up for the Ghana versus Zambia friendly in London on August 12 while his name has also be included in the list of players due to play two friendlies for the U-20 in Switzerland against the United Arab Emirates. Inkoom was back in action for Basel on Sunday in their 1-1 draw against Lucerne in the Swiss league playing for ninety minutes after a week and a half out. With a major Swiss derby game against Grasshoppers coming up on August 9, Inkoom is not sure if he will be granted permission by Basel to play in that U-20 friendly and miss the game he calls the Hearts-Kotoko tie of Switzerland. He should however be eligible for the second game of the U-20 side on August 12 but that match also clashes with the Black Stars meeting against Zambia in London. “The Black Stars game is very attractive but I will be happy for officials of the Satellites and the Black Stars to come to a decision about which game I play in,” he told KickOffGhana.com. Inkoom second choice behind John Paintsil at right back for Ghana and very much first choice at the U-20 level but the return to fitness of Daniel Opare at Real Madrid juniors offers a completely fresh challenge to the Basle right back.
Inkoom must choose
