Ghana international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is battling with an injury and looks set to miss out on making an appearance for SC Freiburg this weekend.
The forward travelled with his teammates to France in mid-week but played no part in the huge 4-0 win against FC Nantes.
After the game against the French Ligue 1 club, his manager Christian Streich provided an injury update.
According to him, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is not out of the woods and is likely he will miss the encounter against Bayern Munich this weekend.
“It is not certain that he will fail,” the coach who hopes the forward will be available for the game added.
That clash with the defending league champions of the German Bundesliga is scheduled to be played on Sunday, October 16.
SC Freiburg needs to avoid a defeat to increase the team’s chances of fighting for the German Bundesliga title.
Before his injury, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh had hit top form where he scored in three consecutive matches.
