Coach Karim Zito has urged Asante Kotoko incoming coach to consult Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum properly before going into next season’s assignments.
The Porcupine Warriors are without a substantive trainer following the resignation of trainer Ogum who led them to last season’s league title.
The Ghanaian Champions will go into the CAF Champions League against Burkina Faso champions, Rail Club de Kadiogo in September.
“..when you look at the time to the day of the competition [Champions League] it’s about one month and one month for another coach to come, if he doesn’t work well, he will be disturbed,” Karim Zito told Radio Gold TalkSport.
“Either the [new] coach should consult the outgoing coach for some tactical issue of the players and the way they play.
“Because if the coach comes and tries to change things now, he will have problems because even with the white players they find it difficult in adaptation.
The first leg is slated for the weekend of September 9-11 with the reverse fixture set for the following weekend.
