Ghanaian striker Inaki Williams was on target in Athletic Bilbao’s 2-1 comeback victory over Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League on Thursday.
The match, held at the Huvepharma Arena in Bulgaria, saw the home side take an early lead through Erick Marcus’s goal in the 20th minute, which remained the score at halftime.
However, Athletic Bilbao regrouped and eventually found their rhythm, equalizing through Williams’s strike in the 73rd minute.
Just one minute later, Nico Serrano scored the winning goal, securing a 2-1 victory for the Spanish side.
The win marks Athletic Bilbao’s third win in the ongoing Europa League season, with one draw in four games.
Inaki has been a consistent performer for the team, playing in all four games and scoring two crucial goals.
