Former Ghanaian defender Derek Boateng says Spanish-born forward, Inaki Williams will “need time” to flourish for Ghana.
The Athletico Bilbao talisman has come under immense pressure for not scoring in seven matches.
Derek urged Ghanaians to exercise patience and adds the Athletic Bilbao striker will come good.
“I think Inaki Williams and other players who switched nationality don’t really understand Africa, they don’t know what is going on here, our style and others,” Derek told Wontumi Sports.
“I think Inaki needs time but ask yourself if we can be patience with him? he quizzed.
Inaki will hope to bounce back when the Black Stars engage Central African Republic in an AFCON qualifier.
