Ghanaian international Ishaku Konda is elated to join Czech Republic top-flight side FK Jablonec.
The 23-year-old has penned a two year deal with the club after successful negotiations.
He was put through his paces for the first time by his former coach David Horejs whom he worked with and established a good relationship with him at Ceske Budejovice.
“I’m very happy that I could join a club like Jablonec. It’s a wonderful club and a wonderful city. I can’t wait for the matches in the green and white jersey,” Konda said as quoted by the club’s website.
“My first days at the new club were pleasant, I had a nice welcome. I know the coaches and I’m really happy that I can work with them again.”
Ishaku Honda has previously featured for České Budějovice, and also had a fine stint in Estonia where he played for Paide.
At FK Jablonec, the Ghanaian youngster has set his sights on working very hard to make a mark in the Czech Republic top-flight side this season.
Konda is likely to feature in their cup game against Vyskov on Tuesday.
