Ghanaian midfielder Francis Abu is thrilled to join Ligue 1 side Toulouse on a four-year deal.
Abu, a product of the Right To Dream Academy, had a successful stint with Cercle Brugge in Belgium, making 49 appearances and contributing one goal and four assists.
“I want to say I’m very excited to join you guys,” Abu said after completing his medicals and first training session. “I’m looking forward to making new friends and new teammates and all the best for the season. Thank you.”
With recent appearances for Ghana in the Unity Cup, Abu is eager to play a key role in helping Toulouse surpass their 10th-place finish from last season.
The 24-year-old midfielder is optimistic about the season ahead and settling into his new environment.
Abu’s move to Toulouse marks a new chapter in his career, and he’s ready to make an impact in the French top flight.
