Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Kobby Hammond has extended his stay with Iraklis FC, signing a new deal that keeps him at the greek club through the 2025/26 season.
The 25-year-old, who joined Iraklis in 2023, played 28 matches last season, scoring three goals and providing five assists. His performances helped the club finish in the top half of the greek football league.
“Iraklis is a club with a rich history, and I’m proud to continue my journey here,” said Hammond, who came through Ghana’s right to dream academy.
Iraklis’ sporting director praised Hammond’s development and commitment, calling him vital to the club’s ambitions.
Having risen from lower-tier football in portugal, Hammond is now seen as a potential Black Stars prospect, with fans in Thessaloniki celebrating his extension as a major boost for the upcoming campaign.
