I’m happy I played well to help Bochum to defeat Union Berlin – Christopher Antwi-Adjei

Ghana international, Christopher Antwi-Adjei was in action for VfL Bochum last Sunday when the team defeated Union Berlin 2-1 in the German Bundesliga.

The forward for the first time in the season started the game for his team after putting in a lot of effort in training.

In what was a matchday 11 encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 German Bundesliga season, Christopher Antwi-Adjei provided an assist to lead VfL Bochum to a delightful 2-1 victory at the end of a very tough contest.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the Ghanaian said he is happy he was able to help his team to amass the crucial three points.

“I’m just happy that I could help the team,” Christopher Antwi-Adjei said while adding, “We should be so angry, keep running at the goalkeeper so that they had to play the long ball.”

Thanks to the shocking victory over Union Berlin, VfL Bochum are no longer bottom of the German Bundesliga standings.
