Nations FC head coach Frimpong Manso has voiced frustration over the commitment levels of some players this season, as his side struggles for consistency.
Since taking over from Kasim Mingle, Manso has overseen just one win in four league matches. Following a 2-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea, the coach made it clear that only players showing full dedication will earn a place in the team.
“Those who want to play, I will let them play, and it doesn’t matter who you are. If you are not serious and don’t want to play for the team, I don’t care, but I am going for those who are serious,” Manso told Vision FM.
He added: “When I was appointed, I tried to unite the team, but some players’ behaviour shows they are not serious. Those who are ready to go with me will play; those who are not, I leave behind.”
Nations FC are currently 14th on the league table with 10 points and will host defending champions Bibiani GoldStars in their Matchday 11 clash.
