Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko has outlined his team’s strategy for their upcoming match against Karela United in the Ghana Premier League, as he aims to put an end to his side’s seven game losing streak away from home.
Medeama last won a game away from home in the league in November 2024, when they beat Young Apostles 2-0.
Tanko aims to lead his team to victory by playing their normal possession-based football.
“We are going to try and play our normal possession-based football,” Tanko said in his pre-match game.
He acknowledges Karela’s strength, noting their recent win against league leaders Gold Stars. “Karela is another stubborn side,” Tanko said, emphasizing the need for his team to be prepared.
Despite the challenge, Tanko’s team will aim to dominate possession and secure a win.
The match, scheduled for Sunday, May 18, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
