Former Ghana U17 star Ibrahim Sulley has joined Asante Kotoko’s preseason sessions as he edges closer to a move to the Porcupine Warriors.
Sources indicate the forward has signed on a free transfer, though the club is yet to make an official announcement.
Sulley has already linked up with the squad at training but was absent from the roster for Kotoko’s preseason camp in Cape Coast.
The ex-Great Olympics attacker could return to Ghana’s top flight after a two-year stint abroad, following his departure from Olympics in 2023.
His addition is expected to strengthen Kotoko’s frontline as they prepare for a demanding season both in the league and on the continental stage.
Kotoko began the second phase of their preseason in Cape Coast on Sunday, August 10, as preparations intensify for the 2025/26 campaign.
Up next for the Porcupines is the GHALCA Top four competition slated for August 20 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Participating clubs include Hearts of Oak, Heart of Lions and Bibiani GoldStars.
