Ghanaian left winger Ibrahim Osman, currently with Brighton, has been linked with a move to Portsmouth in a deal connecting clubs from England’s Premier League and Championship.
Osman is 21 and plays on the left wing. The proposed move would see him leave Brighton for Portsmouth, who are competing in the second tier. The transfer link is dated 3 August 2026.
Osman’s market value is listed at €7m, a figure that places a clear valuation on the player should the clubs progress from interest to negotiations. No transfer fee has been attached to the rumour, and there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or with the player.
The Ghanaian remains under contract with Brighton until 30 June 2029. That agreement means Portsmouth would be pursuing a player tied to the Premier League club for almost three more years, rather than one approaching the end of his deal.
The link therefore remains unconfirmed, with Osman still contracted to Brighton and the proposed move yet to develop into a completed transfer.
