Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku is looking forward to a well-deserved break after helping his team lift the MTN FA Cup trophy on Sunday.
Opoku scored a brace in the final against Golden Kick, including a penalty and a header from close range in the first half of Sunday’s clash.
With the season over and set to resume in August, although Kotoko face Hearts of Oak in July’s President Cup, Opoku plans to maintain his physical fitness during the off-season.
“I’ll put myself in a good shape. I’ll make sure I won’t over enjoy and then I’ll try to work hard so that I’ll keep myself in a good shape and hope for the best next season,” Opoku told 3Sports.
Opoku was once again the difference maker for Kotoko in the FA Cup, underpinning hi importance to the team.
