Hearts of Oak board member, Vincent Odotei Sowah has stressed that he has no plans to resign.
The politician and football administrator has come under harsh criticism in recent times with accusations that he is the cause of the club’s woes together with Alhaji Akambi.
Amid calls for his resignation, Vincent Odotei Sowah says he will only leave the club if the chairman of the board of the club, Togbe Afede XIV calls for it.
“I will never and ever resign as board member unless Togbe Afede says so that I should resign from the board of Accra Hearts of Oak,” he told Original FM on the Super Sports show.
Reacting to the club’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup, Vincent Odotei Sowah shared that everyone at the club is disappointed.
He said the club is now focusing on the Ghana Premier League and will prepare better for the next Africa campaign.
“We are very disappointed for not qualify from the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary stage and we will prepare very well for the league and move forward,” Vincent Sowah Odotei shared.
