Abdul Aziz Issah has opened up about the emotions that came with his first appearance for the Ghana national team, saying he was nervous but excited to share the pitch with experienced international players.
The former Dreams FC talent was introduced during Ghana’s 4-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago, making a confident showing in front of the London crowd.
“It was full of excitement when the coach told me that I would be coming on,” he said. “Even though I was nervous, meeting experienced players, I was happy for the opportunity because I wanted to do well in the game and prove myself.”
His call-up to the Black Stars is seen as a major step forward in his career, especially as Ghana builds toward future competitions like the 2025 AFCON qualifiers and the 2026 World Cup.
