Egyptian goalpoacher Mohammed Salah has set sights on winning the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The Liverpool talisman has been phenomenal in the ongoing English Premier League campaign netting 14 goals with 8 assists.
He is looking forward to emulating the five star performance at the continental level in the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations.
Following his standout performance in Liverpool’s 4-2 victory over Newcastle United on Monday, Salah stated, “I want to win the competition, and I would love it. Without me, I’m sure the players can win the games. We have fantastic players… anyone can play in my position and do what I’m doing; everyone just needs to feel free!”

The seven times African champions are pitted in group B with Ghana, Cape Verde, and Mozambique
The competition is set to kick off on January 13th to 11th Ferbuary.
