New Asante Kotoko signing Joseph Amoah is determined to help the team succeed in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup, stating that he wants to be a part of something special at the club.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined Kotoko from Legon Cities, where he impressed despite the team’s struggles.
Amoah says he is “absolutely elated” about the move, saying, “Coming from a Legon Cities side that had a tough season, to now joining the biggest club in Ghana, is a huge step in my career.”
Amoah said he is eager to contribute to the team’s success, particularly in the CAF Confederation Cup.
“The ambition here is clear, and I want to be part of something special especially in the CAF confederation cup,” he said.
With his versatility and ability to control the tempo of play, Amoah is expected to solidify Kotoko’s midfield.
The talented player made nearly 50 league appearances for Legon Cities and is known for his confidence on the ball and good positional awareness.
