The head coach of Sudan’s national team, Kwesi Appiah has expressed his desire for both Sudan and Ghana to secure qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Black Stars will host Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 10, followed by an away game in Libya on October 15 .
Ahead of the crucial game, Sudan sit in second place in Group F with three points, while the Black Stars are in third place with just one point.
Appiah’s team has had a mixed start to their qualifying campaign, securing a win and a loss in their first two matches.
“I hope both Ghana and Sudan qualify for the 2025 AFCON,” he told Asempa FM.
“We just have to pray and hope that we all achieve our goal.” he added.
