Christopher Bonsu Baah says he embraced the moment rather than fearing it when he stepped onto the pitch for his Black Stars debut against Nigeria.
The 20-year-old impressed fans with his performance, but insists he will leave the assessment of his display to the coaching staff.
“I will leave everything to the coach because he was the one who was watching the game… for me, I just gave my all to my country,” Baah said in an interview with JoySports.
He explained that starting the game brought excitement rather than nerves, saying, “I just said nah, this is the moment I should just enjoy the game, that’s all.”
The winger also featured in Ghana’s friendly against Trinidad and Tobago, showcasing his attacking flair.
With the Black Stars returning to action in September for World Cup qualifiers, Baah is hopeful of earning another call-up.
