I draw strength from my parents; they have given everything for me to be where I am – Nico Williams

Ghanaian youngster, Nico Williams has dedicated his debut appearance for Spain to his parents.

According to him, his parents have given their all to ensure he gets to where he is today and deserves to be happy.

“I dedicate it to my parents above all, to my entire family. They deserve everything and more,” Nico Williams said after coming on as a substitute in the game against Switzerland over the weekend.

Nico Williams, 20, further disclosed that he gets his strength to continue going from his parents.

“I’m very grateful for everything my parents have done. It’s vital, they give you strength and it’s what pushes you to be better. This shirt is for my mother. They’re very happy that she was able to make her senior debut, it’s the everyone’s dream,” the Spain-born attacker said after his debut for Spain.

Nico Williams is in line to feature for Spain again on Tuesday when the team takes on Portugal.
