Togbe Afede, expressing dismay, addressed the recent actions taken by certain fans in response to the board’s dedication and efforts.
He voiced his belief that those participating in demonstrations are hindering the club’s progress.
Togbe Afede questioned the necessity of the demonstrations, noting that the club has already taken steps to address concerns by appointing a new coach and managing director to instigate positive change.
He further explained that plans were in motion to introduce a new board during the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for this month.
However, due to delays in auditing the accounts, the AGM has been postponed to the following month.
“They are all aware we brought a new coach, they are all aware we brought a new MD so what are they demonstrating for?
“We talked about putting in place a new board and announcing that new board in the next AGM which we had planned for this month delays in the audit of the accounts have meant that we had to postpone the AGM to next month, so if you are going to have a new board next month what else are you agitating for?”
Well, Togbe’s off field work is showing in his over decade in charge of the club but the results are not forthcoming on the field.
The club has won just one league title and two FA Cups.
