Ghanaian striker Ayew, has disagreed with commentaries from Ghanaians questioning the commitment of the Black Stars in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana started the tournament with a 2-1 defeat to Cape Verde on Sunday at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
The result has raised concerns about the desire of the playing body on the field.
“Football is our bread and butter, so I disagree with people who say we are not committed. I agree we have to do better, we have to be more determined, but to say we are not committed, I disagree,” Jordan said.
“It doesn’t go our away at times and we know we have to do better.”
Ghana come up against Egypt on Thursday, looking to bounce back from their opening setback.
