Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku says he is confident the Porcupine Warriors will flourish in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Kotoko secured their spot in the competition after beating Golden Kick 2-1 in the MTN FA Cup final.
Opoku was at the center of Kotoko’s win, scoring twice in the Cup final, including a late spot kick.
The forward has impressed in his second stint at Kotoko after joining the club in December, scoring a torn of goals.
“Playing in the CAF Confederation Cup boosts your morale and it also helps you as a player to develop well,” he told Asante Kotoko media.
“I believe we playing in Africa next season, we as a team will do well and me being a player will help my team achieve what ever goal we set,” he added.
Kotoko will lock horns in Hearts of Oak in the president Cup on July 6
